Zeus and the Acropolis

How significant was the presence of Zeus, first among the gods, at the sacred space presided over by his beloved daughter Athena? With the help of the Archaeologist-Hosts, visitors will discover the presence of this god in the Museum’s exhibits, his sanctuary and his worship on the rock of the Acropolis, as well as its particular features in relation to other ancient cults of the same god in Athens and in the rest of the Greek world.
